Tools with PEQ repack / AX repack

Quick question (hopefully something easy):

I have been unable to get the eqitems tool to connect to the repacks. I get the servers running up fine and can use the PEQ DB tool or connect with Heidi SQL, but for some reason I cannot get the tools or the test connection to connect.

Anyone have any ideas on tips?

I have tried localhost, 127.0.0.1, 127.0.0.1:5999, just cant connect.

Maybe it's the DB name I am using? (peq)

Disregard, I had missed a step when I had reinstalled my OS (installing the ODBC drivers, oops!)
