Connecting to EQ Admin remotely?
 

I want to work on my db away from home, simply entering my ip and opening my port at home hasn't worked, nor has granting permissions within mysql. So is this possible at all?

I do not know the command script to do this but you can down load 3rd party software to manage mysql database and use there permissions wizard to edit who you let in.
