Black screen

Hi guys,
I got everything to work as far as i can tell from the install guide.
However, when i laumch the emulator "Launch titanium" i see the mouse pointer change but the screen is black..
can anyone help?
Ive tried launching the game in windows XP with service pack 2 and 3...anything else i should know?
