SOE quest creation
I remember an interview with one of the devs a while back, and I sure wish I could find it again. This dev talked about the process of creating epic quests (and why they didn't think they would make any more). I recall hearing about their first day at work, and how much testing goes on for a new quest.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? I'm giving a talk in the near future, and this type of info would be very helpful -- to show how much work goes into creating content for Everquest. I'd sure appreciate any additional info the community might have. |
If only today's EQ gave a flying fuck like the old days.
Not sure I would discuss 10 year old dev practices since anyone familiar with EQ live today, would laugh you out of the building. However good luck finding whatever you are seeking. |
This is my search term, it didn't really give me anything along those lines (Advanced -> Sort by Custom date -> 1999-2002)

Yeah, I couldn't find anything either. But I remember reading it at some point. I just wish I could cite it. This just gnaws at me.
