Latest supported EQ Client

Right now I'm running SoF because that's the CDs that I have, but I'd like to be able to use some of the newer features of EQ. What's the latest supported client that eqemu supports.

I've seen a few posts about using the F2P steam version that was out last year but I'm way to late on that one. I went ahead and downloaded it to try and of course it didnt work. Looking at eqnews.txt the last update was May 15, 2013.

What version is currently being worked?

You can check against this article on the wiki: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...ClientVersions

for the different versions that are supported.

Ok thanks, I saw that but wasn't sure if it was up to date. So looks like I'm stuck with SoF since I can't get any of the others unless I get lucky and find a boxed version somewhere.

SoD is the newest boxed version you can buy that is supported.

SoD was digital download only. The last retail box version of EQ that was available was SoF, unfortunately. SoD and UF are both far better than SoF as far as functionality and stability. The RoF client would be great as well if the last few issues get worked out.
