server select screen is blank...why?
 

ok i have installed EQ on 2 different laptops now and this second time around its doing the same exact thing


i install EQ from cd's just like i have for years and years... then i do the setup i change the eqhost file and create a shortcut and patchme at the end. same old same old


now when i launch the game and i go to login all it does it show a blank server select screen and 0/0 expansions.


hell even if i just put a random account name and a random password like "fdshjsd" it will still go to a blank server select screen.


i have also tried connecting my laptops directly to the internet with a wire and not over wifi and it still does it



i just cannot figure it out :|

thanks akkadius i tried resetting my modem, and reset it to default settings, restarted my computer and it still does it

i dont know why its doing this as i use to play like a year and a half ago and there was no problems, same internet service provider, same modem from them, same everything network wise.

im not sure why this is still doing this, i have had it a couple times when i try to log in it will say, this account has had 23095 failed login attempts or something like that which is absolutley unreal i didnt try to login that many times ever, and ive tried logging in with multiple accounts.

What client did you install? Titanium?

Did you set your eqhosts.txt to the proper configuration?

you know i installed platinum, maybe its not compatible and would be causing this?
