House of Thule
 

Is the house of thule currently innactive? I tried to zone to thulehouse1 with gm and nothing happened.

House of Thule is definitely an active zone, even populated with NPCs.

I would double check your zone files and make sure you have this zone. Typically if you can't #zone somewhere with GM status it's because the client is missing those files.

PEQ is active through Gates..any additional data is for future expansion. (That doesn't mean that you can't activate it yourself in the mean time :) )

You will either need a RoF client, or UF client with the HoT zone files copied to it.

Ok I used peq to set up my server and I use a underfoot client so I do I get the zone files?

If they haven't broken anything with the current live files, you should be able to grab them from there I suppose.

I'm new to all this so what do u mean by active? And what are the files I actually need? I have map files in my client folder...

The likelihood is it isn't active in other words implemented - the spawns will probably be there but they won't have had their HP, damage, spells etc set up. None of the quests will be working either.

Ok if that is the case then how do I activate it I can't even get into the zone

If you have the RoF client (or modded the UF client), make yourself GM and then #zone to it. You either:-
1. Don't have the client files, or
2. The account you have doesn't have the requirement of a minimum status of 80. Zones that the PEQ team haven't finished are typically marked in the database with a min_status of 80 which means only GM's can zone into them.

hmm I have the UF client but not a modded version ... im set at 250 but cant zone into them so guess that means I don't have the files?

Yes, that's probably what it means. Underfoot is missing other files as well as noted on the wiki. You can probably get the files you need from the live client although I have not tried it recently. An easy way to do so is get the live client and copy all of the files into your Underfoot directory and don't replace any files that already exist. You'll end up with files you don't need, that way, but you don't need to pick and choose. The one file you do want to replace is dbstr_us.txt. Live may or may not be the best source for that, but no matter which client you get it from you'll have some issues with AA descriptions and such.
