new question on expansion
 

i currently have all expansion installed but when i play i can't use the PoP aa nor some item off PoP as well, whats the problem?

Your IQ is too low. (AA is not totally implemented, said multiple times, items are added through a -database-, should know that too)

In an issue related to this, is there any particular reason I would only be considered to have the the first 3 expansion packs and not PoP? I have installed it, registered it, patched and everything, and it still wont pick up that I have PoP on EQEmu, any suggestions?

You dont have to even register the expansions with the emulator, just install them.

How do you know it doesnt work? Can you zone into PoP zones?
If you can zone into them, your expansion works.

Yah, I'd remembered them only having to be installed, that's partly what confuses me, I picked up on it specifically because I *couldn't* zone into PoP zones; trying to consistently crashes EQW. Think it could be the result of a bad install?

Edit: Just to clarify, I also checked server select screen and the Register Expansion button shows up saying I have only 3 expansions enabled.

I remember when I started playing on EQemu servers, a while back, I could'nt zone into any outdoor SOL zone, or it would crash.

Some lag infested kunark zones did the same thing, so I figured the SOL engine was too much for the servers running at the time. Could be the same problem, if no one else can get into PoP zones, on a populated server, both with people and mobs.

Well, before I do anything else, I suppose I should ask, has anyone here been able to zone into a PoP zone, and on the server-select have All Expansions Marked? (as apposed to 3 expansions enabled)

Edit: Disregard, managed to get into PoP tonight, must have just had bad luck with servers. /shrug
