Expansion specific setups?
 

Hi All,

Ive got a little server for me and my friend and all is going quite well.

Only thing is its not like the "old days" and my friend and I played from day one.

Is there a way (we both have EQ titanium) to make the server only have up to a certain expansion? I dont like a lot of the newer ones and to be honest ive had a play on P1999 and thats just how I remember EQ, Vellious and no more.

Would be neat to have just those and lose all the other stuff (Druids and Wizards Taxis only).

You can disable older content to a certain extent, but a full conversion is tough, p99 took a good year or so in beta of going through cleaning up their content before releasing to get all the things proper.

The best, publicly accessible database is current PEQ, and it is focused on supporting a pseudo latest expansion setup, there's ways to get your game to seem older expansion style, there'll always be stuff leaking in.

My eqemucleanup tool is a project to try to get PEQ to be more in sync with older content experience.

We just dont use newer things like PoK etc but just wanted to know if it was possible.

We are having fun anyway so all is good :)

It's possible the client is imposing a restriction.


What client version are you using and what level is your BST?

EDITEDIT: OMG what a dork, they get kick at 5. Im so sorry Uleat omg how dumb lol. And the old question about why he had Slam key, cos I copy/pasted the UI and Setup from Barb Warrior lol, all found noobcake SORRY!!!
