error- a timeout has occured

i was in game playing and my client crashed, i tried to reinstall Titanium made all the necessary changes and now i continue to get the same error message. i have reinstalled and reinstalled thinking there may have been a corrupt file, I have read all the other comments for when this had occurred and it seems that this may be a server end problem but doesn't explain why it is just happening now. I am running Titanium on Window 10, with a Hughes net internet connection, i have been using this for the past year and was playing fine, i do not know what else to do.

You can verify a server crash by looking in the server logs directory for a 'crashes' folder - which you should post if there is a related crash.

Playing with the ping time/packet loss overlay up (F11, maybe?) in the client can also tell you if there was a server crash. The loss meter will start to fall steadily until
somewhere just below 33% or 25% and then the client will respond with a pop-up.

the game seems like it doesnt even try to load I enter my username and password to connect to the world server then I get the error message. Iv double checked the getting started to make sure everything was done correctly and iv reinstalled, and waited and now still getting same message

These newer versions of windows do seem to cause problems with permissions and access.

Thanks for posting your resolution :)

Satellite internet can have rather large ping times to the isp servers and can cause issues with connecting to, or even playing online games. Bad weather can make things worse.
