Leaving Project
 

I am leaving the project due to my starteam account (Cvs) being suspended by one of the coders. I have no possible way of getting it back because Hogie will probably listen to him rather than me. It was suspended without consulting me before and was due to some code changes. When asking to restore the account, he did not do so. I will not stay on a project where I am abused considering the time and effort I have put into it.

Greetings.

I regret to inform you that the current incident involving Image's suspension of CVS access has caused me to resign from the EQEmu project effective immediately. I do not wish to be involved with a project where the coding team fights over trivial issues such as formatting problems. I wish the project the best of luck.

i have absolutely no clue what happened yesterday, but i hope you reconsider your step.
YOU are the backbone of this project right now.

let us all work together and fix this mess, mkay?

This saddens me to see. I've been so impressed at the rate and speed of development and the overall knowledge of the dev team. I hope you guys can work it out. IMO, you're killing the project by letting Image and Scruffy walk away, after all the work that's been done by all. What a let down.

We will miss you and your contribution to the project. other devs have left and it was sad. But this one saddens me most. seeing the two most active devs walk away is a crushing blow to eqemu.

I hope the project continues on. would be sad to see this project go the way of the origanal ethernalQuest.

*sniff* i'll miss you image and scruffy, who else am i to bug in the irc chat with image gone?

Im sure you guys can work it out, dont be so stubborn. :(

All the devs make this project happen, but I must say that I like image a lot. Please bring this problem to light, and let the forgiving begin quickly. Image, whatever your next project, I know you'll do a good job. Please come back if you find it in your heart. We appreciate your hard work and dedication.

I don't know who the most important person on this project is, and I'm sure I will never know, but whoever you are, you deserve our gratitude for your accomplishments.

I'm sad now.

Wow. all i gotta say is why. Its going to suck without image, i dont know how much scruffy did for the project but i have been looking at the Emu for about a year periodically. I have seen all that image has done, I think i speak for everyone when i say we really going to miss not only your talent, but you.
