Why enemies drop no loot?
 

I have killed some enemies and none of them dropped anything? And why all orcs who should be enemies don't attack me when I approach them?

Loot got broken with the latest eqLive patch.

Works fine with the older one. Thats why you should always keep 2 copies of eq, one patched to live, one at whatever is working good with eqemu.

What is EQ live?

It's the EQ you pay money to play..

Wish there was a way to reverse patch.. Installed EQ on a friend's computer and had to patch it, so we're stuck playing the broken version .. wahh..

you could always get the roll back patch that was posted on the forums, dont see why using that wouldnt work.

it wouldnt work because that is too old. insted of loot being broken EVERYTHING would be broken.

Ok. So if I install Eq again, what should I do different? Should I autopatch EQ at all?

There's really nothing you can do but wait.. Sucks, but true..

So autopatching is required? We only have to wait for new patches? I'm very stupid.. try to understand me

I tend to be more conservation that most people. I have two directories, one is the eqemu client directory. And I don't patch that one unless I really need to patch.


That means I always have a roll back version. Doesn't always helps, but it helps enough time to make it worth it for me.
