Can't restrict expansions?
I just installed a windows server using Akka's installer (fantastic by the way).
I have been digging through this forum for hours, I have tried a few things in regards to the World:ExpansionSettings options. It seems no one has a clear answer on how to do this, you would think it would have been stickied somewhere by now. All I'm trying to do is make a POP server, remove drakkin, frogs, berserkers, etc. I've restricted zones to set status to 200 on anything > expansion 5. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful. Some information I've seen: I've tried the char create combination (setting the expansion required value to something crazy like 29,000 trying to get rid of frogloks. 2^X-1 formula where X is the expansion number You have to add the expansion ID/value together to get your desired results. If a feature is specific to an expansion, you need to enable that expansion if you want that feature. So if you just want Iksar, then you only need Kunark. For instance: 0 = No Expansions 264 = Default, Planes of Power, and Kunark 511 (default) = Everything up to, but not including, Depths of Darkhollow 3136 = Default, Serpent's Spine, Prophecy of Ro, and Gates of Discord 16383 = Everything |
This is the best list I found. (see variables table as well for exp setting)
Character creation - My preference was to just delete the entries. Code:
0 - classic |
Not working when i do it as well

When setting that rule in variables as 0 though, it still allows beastlord and frogs and iksar and gnome shd to be made. So we are assuming there has to be an item being missed somewhere, or maybe your code peel already had diff variables set to restrict how u wanted it? Why does it need to be convoluted and not be setexpansion=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,through 14? Or if one only want to have luclin it would be setexpansion= 1,2,3,4 ,, Classic would be 0. Anyone able to offer what they themselves used with a screenshot to boot? |
