EQemu on Debian 3.0
 

I just install an Debian 3.0 on a Dell Digital PC 3000. I'd like to know the required hardware to run EQemu server . Thanks :)

EQEMU requires lots of ram, I ran it quite efficently on a p350 192 megs of ram with 10 zones running and about 10-15 people online. Of course I have a OC-3 internet connection. The more ram you have the better the server will perform, as most zone files take anywhere from 10-20 megs of ram.

I did put 3x128 MB Ram in this server. To use less ressources witn the system, it runs in shell mode only.

My connection is an adsl 512/128 and soon a 1024/256 ...

Hope i can let at least 6 people play at a time ...

You should be able to house at least 6 people and probably quite a few more
