Desperate Help: Error 1017 / Router?

Alright, I've been trying to get my server, EternalQuest, up for weeks (literally). I have read EVERY post regarding the 1017 error and router issues. I get the 1017 error when logging on to my own server. I tried connecting from another computer (outside the network) with no success. I even attempted hosting on another computer (with a Linksys router), with even less success. Here is my computer information:
  • *Windows XP Pro
    *DSL connection
    *Microsoft Wireless Router
    *All firewalls are OFF
*Ports 20-25, 3000-3110, 5999, and 7990-8000 are forwared to my internal IP, 192.168.2.28

I know I don't even need all of these forwarded, I just forwarded EVERY IP I found listed on these forums because this is making me so frustrated.

Here is the error I get on the world server:

So you all mean to tell me that no one knows how to fix this problem? I don't mean to get angry here, but I have seen more than enough posts about this, but no answers. Does this mean that if you have a router or get the 1017 error that you cannot host a server??

Sorry, but can someone atleast lead me in the right direction or give me some suggesions?

It looks to me as if you're probably having a dns issue. Without going into great lengths I'd say you could probably add an entry to your hosts file (on your local machine) to solve it.
If I were a betting man I'd say doing a search here for hosts would point you in the correct direction.
That should help you take care of any issues you were having locally, if you want to pm me w/ any more details I'd be happy to send you my config files, they work fine when I open the ports on my router, and hell if you give me enough detail, I'll even edit them to what should work on your server.
Aside from that the only other thing that occurs to me is what (if anything) have you done w/ your local eqhosts.txt and are you connecting via eqgame patchme?
