Installation Error
When I start eqemu-install.bat with admin priveliges it just cuts out without any error messages or anything. When I manually download and run the eqemu-server-installer I get an installation error. "mysqladmin.exe ping -h127.0.0.0 -p3306 -ueqemu -peqemu is running when I get: failed to validate MySQL connection: could not connect to MySQL: exec: "mysqladmin.exe": executable file not found in %PATH%.
What do I need to do to fix this? Just for some further information, I am running it on Windows 10 Pro which is fully updated, 32 gig ram. Hard drive space is at 4tb. I have also attempted to download and install mariadb before doing the server install, but that also errored out. So, right now, I am at a loss as to what to do to get this installed. I manually edited my path statement and added C:\Program Files\MariaDB 10.0\bin to my path statement and the problem still persists. |
I got it running.

The problem is that during installation, I input Y when it asked if you wanted to use a current database program. Since the database wasn't installed you have to input N. My mistake is that I that I thought the y was a default and hit it. What you need to do is make sure that mariadb is uninstalled, if it somehow got installed and start over.
