Can't get database to work...
 

Here's my problem, I can't do shit. :( My database doesn't work or soemthing like that...

On MYSQL I right click the area for Databases and only get options for flushing things, which i've done multiple times. On the EQAdmin I try to add and item and I Get the error...

"Uknown database 'eq311' "

No idea what to do...

is the name of your DB eq311, because most just use EQ.

If you only get the Flush messages in MYSQL then do this.
1. Run mysql.exe
2. Enter "create database eq \g" (NO QUOTES)
3. There ya go your EQ database has been created. Now just follow the steps in readme.

For EQAdmin load it up then go to prefrence and change you database to "eq" and you enter your username/password etc and save changes and your all set.

the above post is a little off

1) open mysql.exe (C:\mysql\bin)
2) type create database eq;

now your new database is eq, you can put eq123123123123 if you want. just remember to change it in DB.ini
