#zone/dying probs
 

Hey, is anyone else having this problem? or is it just me...

everytime i die, i get disconnected, and everytime i #zone i get disconnected, the zone server just drops me for some reason

(i'm running my own server, YurisTestServer!)... can't figure this one out, i thought i saw this one once in a past post but i can't find it, anyone have any suggestions?:confused:

oh BTW, for example if i am in a zone, say akanon (doesn't matter), and i type '#zone gfaydark'
the zone server says it's loading gfaydark, i get disconnected
but when i connect to my server again, it says my character is IN gfaydark... i can log back in and i'm in gfaydark

i get that problem only with velious and some kunark

Okay! I figured it out!

I'm running EQemu on a lan, behind a router...

I was using zone9x . [WAN IP] 9000 [LAN IP]

for some reason i couldn't zone properly like this, i had to change it to

zone9x . [WAN IP] 9000 [WAN IP]

just posting this so others who have this problem can fix it

5 bucks says that changing that in the zoneservers on gotfrags(and ditching their spawns cause I think that db is fubared) would probably fix 80% of the crashes and such...

Too bad pyro's not responding and we need the login server brought back up!!!!!!!! ARGH! *twitch*
