Need help starting a login and World Server on local machine
 

Can anyone explain to me in full detail how to create a working Login and World Server on the same local machine.

Running:


Windows 2000 Pro.
512MB SDRAM
Dual P3 1ghz (2Ghz Total)
GeForce 3 64Mb DDR
240GB HDD (3 80gbs)


EQEMu 2.1
EQadmin 2.4
Patched Version of Luclin (2/17/02)

The documentation is very good within the zip. Just be carefull on the client update. If you update your client to the newest version this emulator WILL NOT work.

Believe me I've been working all weekend on it.

I have some questions about the client. Are you referring to the Patch made by SOE or the EQEMu program? I cant even use the EQW program because the emulator locks up and crashes my system. The only way I have been able to load everquest (1 lousy time for 10 min) was on the gotfrags server using version 2.1 of the EQEMu software.

Could someone send me a link to the files needed to start a working world server with the most recently patched everquest files of luclin xpack. I dont want to go about it using EQW. Only EQEMu and the original game exe (eqgame.exe)

It's possible to run everquest without the window program just run the following command

eqgame.exe patchme

What I mean to say is what files do I need to list my world server in the gotfrags.com login server list and to be able to log into my world server to play. I currently have luclin installed and fully patched.
