i can't create character
 

when i try to create a character, it seems nothing happen....
Don't understand why.

wait a minute or two after you created and the character will pop up

I have the same problem. After trying to create the character
I have been waiting for long long time and nothing happens -
my character doesn't show up, I can't enter the world. :?

I patched my EQ on Friday, because otherwise it doesn't run at
all (fresh install is broken). This is on winXP home

Any hints?

You patched on friday? I found your problem already :P The last patch broke the emu. Its posted all over the forums, how could u miss it? :)
