SOE EQ Home Server - Version 1.0?
 

What do you think are the chances the SOE would ever release a home server version of EQ? and what features would you think possible.

ability to host certain zones linked to others?
zone editor,quest editor,spawn editor modules?

naturaly they would fear losing control, or product quality issues, and losing people for other games but Is it possible that they would. or does it have to become like the 80's arcade ROMs have become now, "historic" for something like this to happen.


the microsoft flight sim community has a lot of people making 3d terrian and aircraft, why not something like this for eq

mudman, will never happen... all the games are going down to hell when VI dies... only chance it will happen is if someone robs the servers at the VI Building.

Thats a paperback role playing game, not a single player EQ..

yeah its like D&D (great game btw)
