interesting problem?
 

I am a newb at this so bear with me :P

I followed every step in the windows install file that came with the emu...basically whats going on I can get to the server selection screen and select a server and go on...now the problem is that once the loading bar gets to 100% i get booted out to the connect screen..anyone else getting this? or am i the special one? :P any input would be much appriciated.....

If I remember right, this happened to me once when I had my color depth set wrong. You MUST set the colors in your display settings to High Color (16 bit).

tried your idea, but to no avail....same problem occured...any other suggestions?

Are you connecting to someone else's server or are you connecting to your own?

and if its your own have you correctly edited all files and started login/world/zones without error?

we need more detail.
what does your eqhost.txt say? login.ini? what version of eqemu/Eqw are you running? have you updated EQ? are there any errors when you launch world server? zoneserver? ...

the better detail we have the better able to help you. :)

not sure what the deal was, but I rebooted my system and double checked all my settings and to my suprise it worked! I appreciate everyones help and ideas!
