ok... nm my problem, guess i have a bigger problem. From what i've been told.. the router has a firewall in it ( i dont know much 'bout computers... ) and i was told you can't have a firewall while setting up a server... or even joining a server. is that true? or is there a way around it? or something? yea ;( i'm helpless

Generally, having a firewall will interfere with your ability to host and/or play EQ. Go to the manufacturer's website for info on how to disable/change the firewall settings.
