It appears that this will not work well with Windows 98 clients. If this is not true, please inform us so we can take down this notice.

Works perfectly! Now you just need to add a "Launch Patchme" and "Launch EQW" button.

Just out of interest, if I'm running a perfectly working copy of pre 01/09/03 EQ, should I bother with this patcher?

You probably left what it does intentionally vague, but is your new recommendation to patch to current, then use this new tool and everything is good or should this only be used as a last resort for people who have already patched?

If youre working just fine, you dont need it..

When I dump the files into my EQ directory and try to run the patcher I get an error saying can't connect to the patch server.

Anyone know why this is?

I'd say the patch server is down...

Now no more screaming at people to get the eqfix!

i will tell you this.. it doesne work with win 98... needs some rework done or something.. sorry to poo-poo on things... :roll: :?: :twisted:

Did you read at the bottom of the page you went to? It said to install that MDAC upgrade:)

I cannot run the EQPatcher.exe file. It says its not a valid Win32 application. Please help!!

Try redownloading it. I just tested it and it ran fine off the download.

Need help when ever i download it , it says COuld not install , installshield runtime error or somthin like that NEED HELP any ideas?

I like the patcher. It save space on your hard drive since you don't have to copy the EverQuest to another folder no more. Great program.

Still does not work for me.. Got the "could not find patchsrv.dat file" error..
