The Community
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
After a while of reading alot of threads it seems alot of people here seem to jump on new people with a different view on things and chase them away. I guess everyone needs to just chill out, kick their feet up, and realize that not everyone is the same and learn to get along better. Someone can come in and say they dont like the emu... Thats no reason to flame them or try to entice them to flame you. Its a reason to listen to someone and openmindedly discuss something with them. So next time someone comes up with something u dont like or dont agree with dont bash em and make a community of single minded people. Be more like trumpcard who doesnt take it personally even though someone insults and compliments his work all at the same time... and rather lets things just go by smothly. A person with a different opinion doesnt make him stupid. *BTW this is not an invitation to flames, if you feel a fire burning please put it out before posting here* ---------------------------------- UR DONE!!! |
But everyone must be exactly like me or my attempt to take over the world wont work!
|
Dont worry hoggie, you dont want to take over the world anyways... think about it people everywhere plotting your assasination... the devil trying to use you as a tool... =/.....
|
Hogie, you must understand..
If everyone was just like you then you would never be able to take over the world, however if everyone was like you trained them to be, then you would succeed with ease . |
2 words (or 2 coppers, as you wish) :
TENTACLE RULEZ !! will understand only KOTT (Klan of the Tentacules)     [/b] |
Yea!
Be like Trumpcard !! |
Re: The Community
You are correct about people needing to chill out though there is a good reason for it. New comers don't read, search, or even try to get it working. They want it to be a wham bam thank ya mam install and it isn't. Also the other problem that I have seen is people that have never played EQ try to play and wondering what to do. So not only are we trying to help them get onto a server but also learn the game too. About your "Someone can come in and say they don't like the emu". While this is a good point and is allowed I think the part about not liking it is the fact that people don't realize that the software is not stable and up until recently there wasn't even a patch server for people trying to get onto the emu so errors would happen pissing people off resulting in "This EMU is crap" What I am trying to say is look at the big picture and then draw conclusions. Most of the time we help out. We do bash people for not reading but why spout the same information over and over again when they could of read about it.
