Question about making a server.
 

I was just wondering, ive never made my own server on any game in my life as of yet, but im thinking about making one for EQemu...i have a few questions though..

Do you have to pay to keep the server up :?: or can u just bring it up for the time that your on...( i personally want a 24/7 server)..if pos :?:

As an admin, im guessing you have every command right :?:

Could i build my own world :?:

1. you don't have to pay for anything except you internet connection really to run a EQEMU Server

2. Yes, As an admin you have every command

3. You can make your own NPC's and items, but as of yet you can not design and implement your own zones and such(as far as i know anyways)

There is a way to make zones....kinda. All you would need to do is mirror a zone (not for certain how to do it). Say you want to create another zone just like Lavastorm. Use the same map, change the name to whatever you want, like Pit of Hell, seeing as its a fire zone. Then you can have differant mobs and rain fire or something. I believe then the only way to access that zone, is to type in #zone pithell or whatever you call the short name.
I have seen this done, but its been a while.
