i just dont understand what i have to do to play...i have the original everquest but i dont understand what files i need to download to make this work. sorry if thi sis the wrong section to post this in...i wasnt sure :oops:

Basic start is Make sure EQ is installed. Copy the text from EQHost.txt on main page into the EQHost.txt file in your EQ Folder, and then download EQPatcher from the main page as well. Install and run EQPatcher. After that is done Go to Windows Start button click on Run and Type in "C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme exactly as shown and click ok EQ will start up and run. Use your Forum Login name and password for the EQ login and your set.

Hope that helps.

If you just bought EQ, its probably in a Sony folder, just change the directory to what you have.
