Hi all. First, I did a search and couldn't come up with the answer I need. I'm trying to run a zone server for someone else's world server. This is how my boot5zones.bat is set up

start zone . MyIP 7995 TheOtherIP

This was done using ipconfig for my ip and talking in person with the guy running the world server for his IP. Neither are behind a firewall or router. I'm running WinXP pro and to my knowledge have the most uptodate files available.

I can't get the zoneserver to start, the windows just close. Any suggestions?

Do you get an error message? If you are using windows you may try running it from the command line to see. Also make sure that your ip address is in the zoneserver_auth database.

Done, but no luck. I'm able to start the zones using my database (which is identical to his) but we get kicked every time we log into one of the zoneservers listed on my machine. Any further ideas would be appreciated.
