1017 Error and Patch Server Error - Whats the Deal
 

Alright..

Everything seems to be working fine until i get to the server select screen. I select a server..connect and then boom i get a 1017 error. There have been posts regarding this problem all over the place. The awsner to that seems to be to download the patcher for Eqemu.

Ok, so I did that and the patcher is installed correctly and everything is as it should be except im getting a "Cannot Connect to Patch Server" which also seems to be a common problem. I have heard the way to solve this is to "wait" because the server is down. At least for me this dosent seem to be the case, because I called a friend and he ran the patcher and his worked just fine, however mine still does not work.

Is there anything I can do?

so, no one knows what wrong? i'm literally stuck in the mud ><

you got further then most of us, were all missing the patcher.dat file =/... okay now i got far enough to actouly get the error your getting. Still missing the Patcher.dat fiel thoe. Can somebody upload this fiel for us who dont have it?
