EQ Legends
 

Well since EQ Legends is about to open, I thought I should do something to make it a little more interesting. I am currently working on a emulator option which allows you to have all characters available on the webpage (for viewing, like magello). I have already started, and so far its going quite well, I will post a screenshot or two soon about the main idea of what its going to look like....and you thought you could only get this by paying $40/month!

Crazy Thought
 

This popped up a crazy thought.

Varant wants you to pay $40/mo to have your character placed on their web site (yes, that's truly crazy, but that wasn't the thought).. soooo..

...Do you think varant will go after places like Magelo & EQCasters who provide this for free? If they can't do so legally, do you think they'll do it in an "under the table, heavy handed" like manner?

Myself, I wouldn't put it past them, but I wouldn't exactly place my chips on them doing it, either.

Mostly, I'm just bored, so I'm throwing out a random though. :)

I would have to say not really cause those services are not tapping into EQ servers to obtain the info. They are just taking whatever the user gives them.
