Port Update!!!
 

A while back when I was confused and trying to get the Emu to work, I realized that the eqhost.txt you D/L or change is wrong. the port you all are trying to connect to is wrong. This is why it says "Incorrect version! Run the patch program again". Your eqhost.txt should look like this:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin.gotfrags.com:5997"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin.gotfrags.com:5997"
}

The old port was 5999. As you see, it must be changed to 5997. I think this should clear up the problems with the Incorrect Version error. I don't know if this has been posted before, but it should prolly be bumped if so.

I'm not quite sure why yours would not work on 5999, because I've been running mine on 5999 since I came accross this emu and have never had a problem with it.

Please note that this is just to login to GotFrags and not your own emu. If you are running your own emu server then port 5999 is still in effect til they release the next version.
