Zones are down Frequently

This is in no way complaining or whinning, I just want to state the following bugs that have been causing the majority of problems on the server.

1) As of recently, zones have been down far more than they have been up. If your character is in Eq at the time, then they are stuck there, even worse, if you aren't in Eq at the time it happens, you can't even enter Eq. I'm sure this isn't anything new, but I just want to say that it is a problem.

2) Another minor thing about zones: When zoning, you never really know where you show up, and it really is bad when you zone 100 feet in the air and fall to your death.

3) Lastly, is of some warning, I believe I lost a lv.16 character while zoning which I think was due to the fact that I had the spell Camoflage cast on me at the time. I'm not sure if this can happen, but if it can, its a big problem because ppl need to be able to zone while having effects on them.

Falling to death can be fixed by DB updates - some servers don't have that problem as often. The spells are having problems, and zoning may be still have problems. We are aware of the problems and they are receiving work.

Like in the first posters post, I have two characters that are stuck in a zone that doesnt/isnt working. Is there any way for myself or a gm to move them to a different zone so I can play them? Or if i delete and recreate, will i be able to use the same name of the character i deleted?

Yes, you'll be able to reuse the characters if you delete them (using same name)...at least I could :P

To move a stuck character out of a zone log in on another, unstuck one and type:

#movechar <character_name> <zone_you_want_them>

e.g.

#movechar Monrezz sleeper to move "Monrezz" into Sleeper's Tomb.
