Installing EverQuest (not emu)
 

Figured Id post here since the real EQ site didnt help, and im only reinstalling to play the Emu. When I try to install the original EQ, it freezes saying there was an error transfering a file, the same file every time. Im running windows xp/512 ram/2.66ghz,geforce 4 mx 440 card so im asuming its not that, it runs fine on my old p3 800 mhz 256 machine, but not this one - any input would be appreciated, I also tried installing from my DVD Writer but it couldnt read the CD. Thanks in advance, hopefully.

is the CD scratched? there not much you can do about that.
