Setting up single playing mode...
 

Hello, i have the same exact problem again that i had before...

I know because of my stupidity there is something so little wrong about my configs so it doesnt work.

1) I have old EQEmu installed so i just overwrite new EQemu files to the older folder?

2) What ill do with the new newdbstruct.sql file ? Rename it or..?

3) What are the lines im suppose to add to Loginserver.ini, db.ini ?

4) What was the line to add to mysql to make the account as GM or ServerOp ?

1 - Just install the new files over the old ones, overwriting them (make sure to keep a backup though)
2 - First import the old 2.3 db.sql (with my DB addons if you want) then import the newdbstruct.sql. You'll get a few error beeps but it should work OK.
3. I think you need to add "loginport=5999" to the .ini.
4. You need to set the account's Status flag to 200 (server op) or 150 (GM).
Hope some of this helps.

When you say import the old database and then import the new structure. Do you mean open mysql...
use eq
source olddbfile.sql
source newdbfile.sql

or something similar?
Trying to pick up mySQL commands as i go along here :)

Hello again,

now im having some major problems trying to import the newdbstruct.sql to the database. What command imports it or how it is done ?
Im lacking skills of the computer enviroment but starting to learn.

I have tried all the commands with the loginserver.ini and all but my own single playing server stays locked and even when i put locked to false.

Copy newdbstruct.sql into your mysql\bin directory, open mysql.exe, type "use eq" then "source newdbstruct.sql".
(this is assuming you've already imported the 2.3 DB)

What errors/problems are you encountering?

Okies i got it finally working !
Only thing i hate is the lag but it's worth it. Now my only problem is howto make myself as server op :P

Set the "status" flag of the eqemu account to 200 in order to be a server op (EQEmuAdmin is the best way to do this, look on the 3rd-party tools board to find it)
