Patcher Download

I have downloaded the patcher file twice. and from two different mirrors. both times I have gotten the same errors. It says that the files cannot be unpacked and that the files are corrupted. Could someone please help me. I also have not go the MDAC thing at the patch screen. Could that be why?

I went back and read the tutorial for getting started. I downloaded the mdac_typ file and got an error message with that too :? what could be the problem?
