Error 430
 

new to the EMU deal, thought i set everything up right, but i get a error 430, any suggestions

You get that error with patcher, right? Do you use Windows 98? I get the same error. I downloaded a .dll to remove another error, which said "unable to find msvbvm60.dll". This error followed it up:

"Run-time error '430'.

Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface"

Try installing all vb runtime files from microsoft you may have a older version conflicting just make sure you ONLY download them from a respected site such as microsofts hopepage these files are easy to infect but hard to detect yours might just be corrupt happens alot with microsoft hehe try reloading them

New to this also and i got the same error i went to microsoft webpage and downloaded Visual basic (VB???) 6.0 Runtime files and installed them and still get same error are these the VB files u meant? if not please specify. Any other suggestions?

I got it to work by first removing the offending vb driver, installing mdac whatever .exe that was referenced in the howto, and then installing patcher again.

ok so how do we fix it ? i am geting the same error and am really stuped with PC but i seem to get stuff to work alot of times. Can someone put a link where i need to get the files to fix this thanks
