Flying NPCs
 
Is there any way currently of making NPCs fly? Azzaraks in the original Plane of Air for example... they fly randomly above the island, at random heights.

My first thought was that the "fixedz" field in npc_types would do this. The name of the field sounded like it anyway. Put the mob's z and waypoint z coords in the sky, and I thought maybe fixedz would disable any gravity pulling down on the model (fixed z coord). But it had no effect. The mob still just constantly fell from the sky over and over as he went along his path.

Is there a way of doing this? I couldn't find anything about it on the forum, and my experiments haven't worked.

flying isn't a problem..........
 
Trying to keep them on the ground is the hard part :)
