EQW Trying to load fullscreen
 

I downloaded the EQEMU files, installed them as per the readme online, and the server works fine. However, I had a version of EQ that was unable to run with the current servers. I downloaded the patcher from this site, and then used that. After that I installed the Microsoft Service Tools that it said were required.

Now, when I try to run EQW, it will boot up in full screen mode, with icons from my dekstop flickering in and out of it. It gives me the EULA and, when I accept, it closes back out to the desktop, with no error messages.

Can anyone tell me why my computer has the epilepsy?

I want a work around for this as well, I know what caused it for me, I repatched EQ, and it infected me with an EQW killer. Its something SoE put in to destroy EQW functionallity again, I tried re downloading the newest EQW files, which were said to compensate for this, However it has yet to work for me.

Most logical step would be to find someone with a pre-april patched completed copy of EQ file lists, So as to replace the new corrupted files. EQW should then work naturally. This is the best bet that Im able to come up with, but id gladly take any information on an easier fix or work around. And as for finding a pre patched EQ fileset, Ive yet to do that either :(

You have to use EQW 2.32 (not available on the site anymore). I know that version works.

Work-around? Just don't use EQW. Play full-screen like I do because EQW doesn't work for me either.

Is there anywhere to get that working version of EQW?

Look at the buttom of the 3 post. There is a link to EQW version 2.32. This is an older version that works with the current EQ
