MYSQL Problems ...
 

Hi let me start by saying that I have been running my server through eqemu.net for about 2 weeks now and everything is working great except for a couple dungeons that crash you out if you try to go in them, but today when I tried to start it up I got errors connecting to database and even the mysql.exe window wont open to allow for errors, I reinstalled mysql 3 times after complete uninstall and reboots, any ideas ? I am running a virus check now

I'd guess that your database got corrupted somehow..

Query mysql by hand..

From a dos command line, cd to your mysql directory, type mysql, then do a 'use eq; select * from items; ' just to verify your database is up, running, and has data in it..

Thanks for the reply, I figured it out, I had set it to block in my firewall by mistake...oops :)
