Character saving!! and corpse stuff
 

Hi evryone, im some new to EQEmu but im ding well i think for a Noob :D . all is working on my server exept few thing but no worry.

my first question is (dont forget im noob ) how do i save up characters on the server when i change my DB!! :? :?:

second Question is when we die on my server we get back up at bind point with all stuff and no corpse left to rez how can i correct that plz :? :?:

P.S.:if someone have time and what to explain some few thing about mobs making it will be appreciated!!

saving character info requires doing a mysqldump of the character_ table, directions for that are here-

as for corpses , they are still working on them, there is a way to actvate corpses but , even when they are activted i haven't been able to get them working right , leaves corpse , but still sends you to bind point with all your stuff.
the setting to make it leave corpses needs to be added to the variables table, add - leavecorpses 1 to the variables.

Thx alot!! ) another bug i have is the Aggro on mobs i ve tried the fix.sql and factionfix.sql from another post ive tried to copy paste some DB faction stuff to another i cant get mob to agrro (im a noob but ive remove #gm on to off of course 8) ).

i can get them to work im using the combined DB for Moonrez post that seem the best i found but faction not working i read all post about it ive tried many thing but im out of ressources now prolly a little noch i dont know but i need to fix that

try the files in the reply of this post, has working aggro, npc casting, and if you get the Quests0.1.zip from drawdes latest post, the quests work also.
