ok I give up...I have tried everything I can think of and it still dosen't work.

I dont see what is so hard about setting this up. i had no trouble at all. i reinstalled eq, patched to latest version. put the eqemu into the folder, patched that up, and i was up and running in no time. just follow the directions in the readme word for word. im on windows 2k and it worked on the first time 8)

Some people have ISP and/or firewall problems or problems that we can't put a finger on, that just makes them unable to patch and play.
