im running windows 98 and installed the mdac thing, when i try to install emu patcher i get '1628:Failed to complete installation' ive installed the patcher before and had it working fine, so any help as to why its not now would be great. also i used the search tool and only found one other thread about this, with no solution=/

*shrug* problems with the installer, uninstall, reboot and reinstall with a fresh copy from sourceforge.

ok, bumping this, i just tryed it again and its been like months and it still says "1628:Failed to compleat installation" this is the most annoying thing ever, i just want to play this again*cry*

ahhhhh im sorry i cant take this, i have tryed everything i can think off. iv completly removed everything that has to do with EQ from my computer, reinstalled it all. patched eqlive, installed the mdac update, rebooted, then dl eqemupatcher.exe and try to install it. im going insane...

Patcher doesn't work. Don't bother trying to fix it.
