Server Question !!!
 

sup i was wondering if any 1 out there was offering space so i can host my own eqemu game that me and a couple of friends could play on i dont have the recources available to host it on my machine it being kinda rathjer slow and still using dialup but i have a ton of friends that said they would play everquest with me i i hosted my own game but sadly as i said before this is imposible comsidering that the power of my machine is lacking in the server department :( so if any 1 out there is willing i am looking for space to host my own everquest game apart from the public eqemu login servers so me and a few friends can play

Why don't you and your friends play on the servers already available?

becuase we really like the idea of privacy when we play

I can't see how privacy is important when you play and it seems that a number of servers are virtually empty most of the time. Still good luck.

As far as I have seen if you have the resources to play EQ then you have more than enough recources to host a server. Most everything in EQ is client side and the server just kinda tells everyone whats going on and where to put this and that graphic. I would find it hard to believe that anyone would host a server for you alone and leave it up 24/7 just so you and some friends can play.

If it were me I would either get DSL or Cable and run my own or just play on someone elses server, there are many to choose from

That's what I thought Hay. Someone generous enough to host a server for them but selfish enough to keep everyone else off.

Wierd combo.
