Runtime Error '70'
 

I've been using eqemu (finally got it working) for a little bit now, I have to run eqemu patcher everytime. I used it about an hour ago, and now, out of nowhere, im getting "Runtime Error '70': Permission Denied" when i click on the patcher...I've rebooted and stuff it still does it...any suggestions?

Runtime error 70 is usually because there is a copy of the patcher still running. It should not give you that error if you rebooted.

Also you do NOT nave to run the patcher over and over unless you patch back to Live EQ for some reason. Once your patched and can loginto EQEmu servers, leave your EQ files alone.

Just use EQW.exe or "eqgame.exe patchme" like the readme says to start EQ.
