im registered and i replaced the stuff on the eqhost now what am i supposed to do and what is supposed to happen

and by the way i hate xp the freaking thing will not remove the program for me to reinstall

Run eqemu patcher, and check the box to run EQ. Then sign on to the server with your forum username and your forum password.

i did run the patcher and it kept telling me i didnt have and account so i tweeked it a lil and now it wont connect to the servers its error 1001 i think

and when the patcher starts it tells me im missin 2 files like discardlog and equnch is this normal?

Make sure the PATCHER show u a msg ,
which tell u can run EQ now :lol:

it says all files found eq ok to run... or something along those lines

i have xp and i saw somewhere that xp screwed it up... if so what do i do to fix it i want to play

If it said all files ok, did it have any errors of any kind anywhere? Run patcher again - Also, patcher has nothing to do with login. Where do you get this login error?

Missing File: window_pieces04.tga


All Files OK For EQEmu!
What do I do??

Reinstall patcher - it's in the wrong folder. Put it in your EQ folder. The default installation is to some bogus folder. You have to browse to the correct spot. Browse to EQ folder, then install directly into that folder without any /patcher subfolder.
