likely a strange problem...

i got a strange problem over there...

i copied my eq installation to another dir patched it with the live patcher and then with the emupatcher. then i tried to log on and after logging on a server i realized that i cant use any of the eqemu commands as i am not able to type a pound (#). well i logged on another server and it was just the same. this makes the use of commands... lets say difficult.
ok i patched again with live patcher and could type a # again even in eqemu but i couldnt log on a server.

in short AFTER patching eq with emupatcher instead of a # i type an u. it works everywhere else in win and stuff but also BEFORE patching with emupatcher. any ideas why or what can i do?

wait, are you saying when you type # it displays "u"? Thats pretty weird lol.. Are you using an english keyboard and everything?
