S.O.S( name:Iksars are'cool)someone help!my acount's screwed
 

there i was enjoying myself, just been promoted to GM on dil's server. then my mouse froze up. i could move it around but all i could to was target my pet, people suggested zoning. So.. well.... i tried it..... but it froze me up and brougt me to the server screen. when i tried to load dil's server. it let me get into the character slect screen but when i clck play game it brings me back to server screen. furious, i tried going on a different server to ask someone who plays dil's awsome server to ask a gm to fix my char. but when i tried to enter that world! IT DIDN"T WORK! it did thre same thing. im so ticked cause i actually got to be a gm on that account. :x And it was dil's server i was on gm with! So... not wanting to give up on eqemu ( for the third time of extreme technical dificulties!) i ateempted to make another account. i dont know if i did it right.. but i clicked register. i put in the information, but it says my email adress already has an account. well yeah it does.... a broken one.... but i thought i could make 12 accounts.. right? How do i fix my account?

Create a new character with the same account. You said you're a GM, right? do a #movechar charactername zonename to move your guy around. I don't know if my arguments are correct, but you can try it.

If it tells you you don't have the right, try a #gm on to set your guy to GM name.

if i say i cant enter even on other servers, what makes u think i didn't try making a new char. i tried buyt somethings wrong brings me back. :cry:

ive redownload eq, my attampts to make an account failed, AND i even tried different servers. how do i make a new account since i know this ones ruined?

Well, you obviously know how to make an account because you're on this one, whether it's broken or not, so what's so difficult about making another?

If you mean it's because of the email address, just delete the current account and then re-use it.

If you can't delete the account, just use a different e-mail. Most ISPs offer you 5+ aliases for e-mails, so you can have jessequest12354@isp.com, jessequest@isp.com, jessEQ@isp.com etc...

If you can't make a new e-mail just ask your ISP, or sign up for an online one. (Not Yahoo or Hotmail, or a few others...they won't work).

Actually, accounts have nothing to do with being able to login to servers. It is totally your machine. If you delete your account, you loose your characters.

I dont know why your account is inaccessible now, but I bet it has to do with your computer, not the account. If you private messaged me your password, I can attempt to login for you.

Yeah Hogie, save the poor guy! Indeed, this is a completely client side issue. I'd ask you to post your ini files... But that doesn't help if you're just connecting to other servers. Are your anti-virus and firewall disabled? Can you connect to EQLive servers? Have you patched to current EQLive status and used the EQEmu patcher to patch back to EQEmu status? Keep us informed, I would like to help crack this issue.
