# command question about titles

How do you give yourself a title? I tried using #title and I got a message saying my title was updated, but it never appeared, even after zoning, logging out and then back in, etc.

Is that the wrong command? The only other one I found was on some EQ command list on the internet which was #granttitle but when I tried that it said "unknown command".

I don't know about titles... But last name can be given like /surname or #lastname.
