Interesting behavior, slightly confused
 

New database, loaded and ready to go.

Logging in (using a generic login 'baritonepc97')

getting 1017. Ive read tons about 1017, resolved several routing issues already. Heres the interesting part..

Looking at world.exe output, i see

214308 New client from ip:192.168.0.6 port:3198
192.168.0.6: Wrong name/pass: name='baritonepcunused'
Removing client from ip:192.168.0.6 port:3198


Now, if i use FQAdmin, and manually create an account with the name baritonepcunused, i can login to the server and not get 1017.

Any thoughts?


(end goal, is to beable to make 4 different login accounts for me and my 3 housemates 'i know you can use multi chars from 1 account, but im learning and experimenting)

Also note..

my roommate logs into my server with 'darzin' but auths as eqemu automatically..
