CVS Question
 

I was wondering what one had to do to get the latest CVS version of EQemu? I found it on the sourceforge, but I'm not sure what I need to get or do. If anyone can tell me what to do that would help a lot. :D I wanted to use Drawde's newest DB, but it seems if I'm using EQemu 4.3 there are a ton of bugs (skills reset to 0, magicians can't use weapons, equipment gets removed randomly, items duplicate and then if you destroy them destroy all instances of the items, etc...).

I downloaded the 4.4DR1 binaries he had attached and used those, so I'm not sure why it still wouldn't work. It seems like to me that is all I should need. Unless the bugs I mentioned are actual bugs in his code then I am a bit confused.

Install CVS.


cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eqemu login

Hit 'enter' when it asks for a password.
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eqemu co NightDumps

This will download CVS stuff. However, there's a good chance it won't work with what you want. It is being actively developed.
